Helping to meet challenging targets set in the UK Construction Strategy 2025.

Over 80 major clients, contractors and suppliers are collaborating through the School to tackle the environmental, social and economic sustainability issues we face in today’s market.

Assess Now

The UK government’s Construction Strategy 2025 calls on industry to reduce emissions by 50%, reduce costs by 33% and build twice as fast. In parallel, informed clients ask about issues like resource efficiency, circular economy, social value, responsible sourcing, modern slavery and air quality.

Simply put, the construction industry needs to deliver more from less, and the role of the supply chain to help do this has never been more critical.

80% of main contractors’ turnover is spent with their supply chains, majority of which are small and medium sized businesses, so achieving a more sustainable supply chain is key to tackling the sustainability impacts of our sector.

Excellence in this area is providing suppliers and contractors an opportunity to differentiate themselves from their competitors and work with new, engaged clients.

Sustainability is also about being profitable. There is no point being the “greenest” business in the market if you are out of business in 12 months’ time.
